We are excited to be presenting a programme of circus at this year’s Bristol Harbour Festival. Performances in Queen Square on the Tidal Stage, in collaboration with Trinity Community Arts, include a mix of circus and dance from professionals and community groups for a family audience. Each day will feature acts from top class local circus artists, as well as showcasing student performers from Circomedia’s BA and BTEC courses.
Jordon Morton-Trowers performs acro dance, we have handbalance ballet from Jude Whitburn, cyr wheel from Esther Fudge, beatbox hat juggling from Jack the Hat, a participatory hula hoop workshop and more.
New for this year, we are also hosting a busking area – Buskers’ Dock – with some of the best street artists from the region, all for pay-what-you-feel ‘in the hat’ cash or QR donations.
There’ll be circus variety from Tit for Tat, silent clown from Sophia Know-Miller, pole from Phoebe Knight, juggling from Adam Havsky, and the south west’s favourite chaos maker, Goldie Fiasco and her Vegas Street Show.
Please come and enjoy the brilliant and varied programme on offer and show your support for the artists bringing more circus to this year’s festival!
Circus on the Tidal Stage runs from 12.40pm – 2.25pm on Saturday and is interspersed throughout the day on Sunday.
Shows at Buskers Dock run from 12pm – 6pm on Saturday and 12pm – 5pm on Sunday.
