DELUSIONAL – I Killed a Man // Diana Salles (BR/DE)

A heart-stopping circus show unravelling the profound beauty of self-discovery on a trans woman’s path.

Taking the haunting feeling of having murdered her former self as a starting point, Diana Salles reflects on the physical and emotional strength it takes to honor one’s deepest truth. Through dynamic aerial silks, dance, song, and fashion that speaks volumes, Diana invites the audience to experience the layers of who she is and the versions of ourselves we are yet to become.

Created in close collaboration with Firenza Guidi (Nofit State), Delusional evolved along with Salles’ transition, with Guidi’s dramaturgy and direction helping turn personal growth into a powerful story. Circus became the perfect medium; it’s raw, it’s risky, it’s about pushing limits, and that speaks to the experience. The acrobatic bodies, the danger, the intensity. It brings a depth that words alone could not describe.

Access: The show is mostly non-verbal with some voice over text. This performance on Friday will not have BSL interpretation. For a BSL interpreted performance book Saturday 18th October.
