This year we hugely grateful to Bristol Beer Factory who have sponsored our Emerging Producer, Roux Burroughs, who is working across the festival. We were excited to welcome Roux to the team this summer, bringing a wealth of experience which he is putting into action.

“Hey! I’m Roux (AKA Gender Criminal) a multi-disciplinary Storyteller, Gender Educator, Director and Producer, moving across drag, queer live art, wordsmithery and community organisation. Nothing is safe from the piercing reimagination of Gender Criminal. Over the past two years I have begun developing a creative ecosystem, hosting 20+ commercial and immersive events uplifting trans+ creatives and experimental artists in the realm of drag and beyond. My particular interest is curating spaces for authentic creative expression and unapologetic political commentating. I am the director of trans+ production collective ‘House of Boussé’ and Bristol Circus City’s Emerging Producer for 2025!”
