On Friday 13th October Ralph Lister from Take Art will be running an info session at Artist Residence, Portland Square between 6-7pm to talk about the current national call out for Circus Around and About 2. Circus Around and About 2 is an exciting circus touring project that will promote circus within rural and urban touring networks across the southwest of England.
The current call out for projects is welcoming applications from artists and companies with existing indoor and outdoor shows of 50 minutes or more who are interested in joining the scheme. 4 projects will be chosen to be offered to local promoters, with 32 performance days to be programmed from May to December 2024.
This 21 month project is spearheaded by a partnership between Somerset-based Take Art, London and Portsmouth based Crying Out Loud and the national touring performance company Extraordinary Bodies.
